Barred Cross chicken
I have been so busy making chickens this last week. They have been roosting on my piano watching their friends being weaved out of a selection of wires. A mixture of commissions and for Suffolk Anthology books.

What came first, the chicken or the egg?
Thoroughly enjoyed making this cheeky chicken. Particularly loved making its feet, its not the most beautiful part of a chicken, but the challenge was extracting beauty from what I observed. Made from zinc, bare iron, recycled telephone wire and threaded copper. All finished off with a lead bird ring and a unique reference number. Now onto another bird....so many to choose from...
